Wolf Tone Recorders

About Us

Wolf Tone Recorders is a hybrid analog/digital recording studio in New Germany, Nova Scotia, founded in 2025 by audio artist Caley Kelly. Hand-built inside a 1946 barn, the studio is a creative space for musicians, and artists working in recording, mixing, sound design, mastering, post-production, and field recording.

A Studio Built to Support Creative Process

At Wolf Tone, we believe sound is a process — not just a product. Whether tracking a band live off the floor or building a cinematic score, artists are encouraged to experiment, explore, and embrace the work. The space was designed to support intuitive, artist-first workflows in a laid-back, rural setting.

More Than a Studio

Wolf Tone Recorders was created from the ground up to serve creative people. We value freedom, play, and craft — and we aim to grow into a cultural hub for audio and the arts in Nova Scotia and beyond.
