This release is built around a single Hohner Pianet M electric piano, recorded through multiple signal paths and treatments.

The material begins clean and unembellished, then progressively departs from the instrument’s native form. Each section represents a distinct intervention rather than a preset style.

The pack is organized by process, not by outcome.

Sections:

DI

Direct recordings of the instrument. Full range, consistent velocity, natural decay. Minimal intervention.

Drive

The same source pushed into saturation and breakup. Dynamic response preserved. Tone destabilized.

Leslie

Rotary movement and spatial modulation applied post-capture. Motion becomes part of the material.

Overdrive Tremolo

Amplitude and harmonic modulation combined. Rhythm emerges from process rather than performance.

Synth Filter

Subtractive filtering used to reframe the source. The Pianet becomes raw excitation.

The furthest departure. Layered, treated, and abstracted material derived from the same recordings.
