Dystopian

Dystopian is an Ambisonic-native composition designed as an interactive spatial structure. The piece is built from four horizontal scenes, each containing four vertical stems that can be played independently or in combination. This layered format transforms the work from a fixed composition into a modular environment—one that can adapt to interactive media, nonlinear playback systems, and spatial workflows requiring dynamic control.

The musical language is defined by heavy, downtuned guitars and dense synth frameworks treated as architectural materials. Distortion, weight, and mechanical resonance are shaped through spatial motion rather than sheer volume. Each scene occupies its own structural identity, while the stems within a scene act like vertical columns of sound that can be rearranged, isolated, or recombined to generate new forms.

Rendered natively in Ambix (ACN/SN3D), Dystopian preserves depth, density, and pressure across formats. The included binaural and stereo versions provide complete accessibility for traditional playback, while the interactive stem architecture offers a fully reconfigurable experience for game engines, installations, and advanced production contexts.
